Prism Systems is thrilled to announce that Jeremy Baker has joined our System Designs Group. Jeremy graduated from the University of South Alabama with a degree in Mathematics and Statistics. Creatively, he has experience in lost wax, investment and resin bonded sand molding for the purpose of iron and bronze sculpture casting. Jeremy comes to Prism with a love for software development and said he is excited about the new challenges the position will bring.

According to Jeremy, the Prism employees he met prior to coming onboard made a "wonderful impression" of the caliber of people he would be working with. He also said the diversity of work opportunities was "hard to beat." Currently, Jeremy is working with the Birmingham group on the Mercedes Controllogix conversion, and his responsibilities include completing the HMI work for the project. He will be relocating to Birmingham from Mobile in November.

Jeremy and his wife have a son, Max, and are excited to welcome a second child in 2016. They have three cats and love to volunteer with animal rescue organizations. Additionally, Jeremy's interests include metal casting, mold making, painting, sculpture and stoic philosophy. He said he is never caught without a pocket knife and flashlight (venue permitting), and he loves to learn about science, biology, technology and design.
