Prism Systems is happy to welcome Tino Hakata. A native of Harare, Zimbabwe, the Hakata’s immigrated to the U.S. when Tino was in elementary school. The family then moved to Mobile where both his Mom and Dad graduated the University of South Alabama (USA). In May 2017, Tino followed the legacy of both Mom and Dad by earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, from USA.
Tino joined Prism Systems shortly thereafter in July, 2017. “Funny story”, Tino explains, “My roommate told me about Prism Systems after his on campus interview and encouraged me to apply. I am so happy I did. What attracted me to Prism was that they do work in almost every field possible and it’s always for the best companies.”
What a few months it has been. Tino’s favorite thing about Prism Systems is how helpful the senior engineers are to offer support, and how the projects are both challenging and fun. Tino is currently Siemens TIA Portal Best Practices Certified. Similarly, Tino has passed his Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam with plans to pursue his Professional Engineer (PE) license. Tino has worked in the Systems Design Group since joining Prism Systems gaining valuable experience with HMI, SCADA, and PLC solutions.
Outside of work, Tino likes all sports but, his favorite is soccer. He is a huge FC Barcelona fan. When Tino is not at work, he is in the gym or playing sports with friends. In his free time, Tino enjoys working on small diy electronics projects and playing Xbox. We are happy to welcome Tino to Prism Systems, Inc.
